"SSI Achieves Milestones in Maritime Safety: Unveils Asia's First Sea Survival Centre to impart a World-Class Training at ATI-ONGC, Goa"
- SSI commissioned a Water Survival Training Facility (WSTF) for the Indian Navy at INS Garuda, Kochi on a turnkey basis in August 2013. The WSTF is a state-of-the-art facility, first in Asia. Fitted with 12 simulators which work in coordination to allow for environmental simulation (day and night conditions, wind, rain, waves, sound, thunder, lightning, wave generator etc., while conducting rigorous survival exercises.
- SSI commissioned the Sea Survival Centre ATI-ONGC, Goa in January 2024. A world-class training facility, it is fitted with 10 simulators which work in coordination to allow for a 16 Seater HUET ditching with environmental simulation including day and night conditions, wind, rain, waves, thunder and lightning while conducting rigorous survival exercises.
